Ethiopian Solomonic Dynasty Prince Estifanos Proclaimed Goodwill Ambassador for The State of Georgia

HIH Prince Estifanos Matewos, a descendant of the Ethiopian Imperial Family, has been conferred with honorary citizenship of Atlanta, the state of Georgia, United States. The recognition comes in acknowledgment of his significant contributions in politics and governance, as well as his global leadership in advancing cultural and economic relations for people of African descent and Ethiopians in the United States. He will also serve as the Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia.

In April 2024, Prince Estifanos was also named among the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) Global 100 Under 40 in Politics and Governance. He is a renowned investment and strategic advisor, founder of the African Royal Group of Companies and serves as the president of the United Africa Royal Assembly, and the Pan-African Parliament Ambassador for Traditional Affairs and Governance.

Signed by Brad Raffensperger, Georgia’s Secretary of State, the certificate described Prince Estifanos as an “outstanding citizen” who is to be “afforded every courtesy as a Goodwill Ambassador from Georgia in his travels to other states, to nations beyond the borders of the United States of America, or wherever he may hereafter travel or reside.”
